Abstract

Objektif kajian adalah untuk mencadangkan suatu kaedah rutin penentuan etanol dalam makanan dan hadnya dalam persijilan Halal. Kaedah kromatografi gas dan kromatografi cecair masing-masing menggunakan 2 jenis kolum berbeza telah dibangunkan dan dibanding untuk memilih kaedah yang paling sesuai. The main objective of this research was to propose a method for routine ethanol quantification in food and its limits in Halal certification. Gas and liquid chromatographic methods using 2 different columns each were developed and compared· to select the most suitable method.
