Abstract

Kajian ini mengenai daun dari tumbuhan Johannesteijsmannia altifrons (J. altifrons) yang tergolong dalam keluarga palma telah diselidik. Daun J.altifrons menyerupai struktur kelompang terjulur berkelengkungan kembar dengan lipatan yang berunjur dari anggota tunjang tengah. In this research, the leaves of Johannesteijsmannia altifrons (J. altifrons) which belong to the palm family have been investigated. These leaves are doubly curved cantilever shell structures with folds extending from the central spine.
