Abstract

Pesakit yang kerap menerima pemindahan darah adalah terdedah kepada platelet alloimmunisasi. Alloantibodi kepada platelet akan menyebabkan kegagalan kepada transfusi platelet. Tujuan kajian ini dijalankan adalah untuk mengesan alloantibodi kepada platelet didalam pesakit yang kerap menerima transfusi darah di HUSM. Multiply transfused patients are frequently subjected to platelet alloimmunization.These platelet alloantibodies produced can result in refractoriness to platelet transfusion. The aim of this study is to detect the presence of anti-platelet alloantibodies in multiply transfused thrombocytopenic patients in HUSM.
