Abstract
Environmental degradation has become an alarming threat to the population in the entire world. Environmental stakeholders are also concerned about it due to its hazardous effects on different geographical areas of the world. This thesis examines the impact of energy poverty and economic growth on environmental degradation in South Asian countries from 1990 to 2022. This study employs econometric techniques, including PMG-ARDL, Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares, and Dynamic Ordinary Least Squares.
