Abstract
Jun porcelain, renowned for its unique kiln color transformations, holds a prestigious reputation in international ceramic art and serves as an exemplary representation of contemporary Chinese ceramic art. However, traditional production of Jun porcelain faces several challenges, including limited innovation in glaze formulations, high defect rates, and less environmentally friendly designs, all of which hinder its sustainable development. This study focuses on copper-based glazes in Jun porcelain, systematically investigating their preparation processes and coloration mechanisms. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between glaze formulation, key preparation parameters, and color expression.
