Abstract
This study investigates the impact of water-washing pretreatment on oil palm empty fruit bunches (EFB) for the synthesis of activated carbon (AC) and graphene oxide (GO) electrodes aimed at enhancing supercapacitor performance. The primary objectives are to evaluate how washing pretreatment influences the physicochemical properties of biochar and to compare the electrochemical performance of AC and GO electrodes derived from the same biomass source.
