Abstract
Eastern China is well developed with high GDP and comfortable climate. Western China is less developed with harsh climate. Unfavourable climate probably explains the primary reason of economic gap between the East and the West. Extreme weather brings difficulties for human to live and industries to develop, while economic growth requires ideal climate and labour. The first objective is to examine the effect of climate to economy in different provinces. In other words, carbon sink provides opportunities for human and livestock to live on.
