Abstract

In recent years, advanced and innovative technologies have driven the rapid development of digital financial inclusion and fintech in china's financial sector and have produced profound changes in commercial banks. The extent to which the financial industry adopts innovative technologies can have a direct impact on the convenience of financial products and services, determine customer satisfaction with products and services, and redefine the way customers interact with commercial banks. For commercial banks, performance can be affected by a variety of factors, especially the strong development of digital financial inclusion and fintech, which will drive performance through the positive impact on the risk-taking capacity of commercial banks. Therefore, this study takes the panel data of 30 provinces in china (excluding tibet, hong kong, macao, and taiwan) from 2012 to 2021 as the research sample. The main focus is on the relationship between digital financial inclusion, fintech, risk-taking, and commercial bank performance.
