Abstract
Kepelbagaian spesies mikoriza yang tinggi menyukarkan proses pemilihan
mikoriza yang mampu bersimbiosis dengan tumbuhan perumah. Di samping itu,
penentuan paras baja P yang sesuai memastikan kadar pertumbuhan dan penyerapan
nutrien yang optimum oleh tumbuhan perumah. Azadirachta excelsa merupakan
spesies tumbuhan yang berpotensi tinggi sebagai spesies ladang hutan tetapi kajian
mengenai spesies tersebut masih amat terhad. Untuk memahami kesan mikoriza dan
paras P yang berlainan ke atas pertumbuhan dan penyerapan nutrien oleh anak benih
Azadirachta excelsa, satu kajian yang terbahagi kepada tiga fasa telah dijalankan.
High diversity of mycorrhiza species complicates the selection of mycorrhizae
which are able to form symbiosis with the host plant. Moreover, the determination of
suitable P fertilizer level ensure optimum growth rate and nutrient uptake by the host
plant. Azadiractha excelsa has high potential as a forest plantation species.but
research on the species is still very limited. In order to understand the effect of
mycorrhiza and different P levels on growth and nutrient absorption by Azadiractha
excelsa seedlings, a study consisted of three phases was conducted.
