Abstract

Tujuan kajian ini ialah untuk menilai samada berat badan dan indeks jisim badan yang tinggi sebelum atau semasa mengandung mengakibatkan kenaikkan kadar kelahiran secara caesarean. Kajian ini juga cuba untuk menilai samada pertambahan berat badan semasa mengandung menyebabkan kenaikkan kadar kelahiran secara caesarean. Objektif ketiga ialah mendapatkan satu nilai BMI atau kenaikkan berat badan yang menyebabkan pertambahan kadar caesarean. The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether maternal weight and body mass index measured before or during pregnancy are associated with an increased risk of caesarean delivery. This study also try to determine whether greater weight gain during pregnancy is associated with increased risk of caesarean delivery.
