Abstract
This study aims to identify learning attitudes and behaviours among children
living at Children's Home Taiping. The study sample consists of 39 children residing at
Children's Home Taiping. The study uses structured interviews to gather data from the
respondents regarding their attitudes and behaviours toward at-home learning. The results
indicate that most of the children accommodated in Children's Home Taiping display
negative attitudes and behaviours toward various aspects of learning. Absence of parental
support and the social environment of the children's home itself negatively impact the
children's development of educational aspirations and ability to self-manage their at-home
learning
