Abstract

Tujuan utama kajian tentang respons pembaca Bahasa Inggeris sebagai bahasa kedua (ESL) yang berprestasi tinggi terhadap beban tekanan kognitif dalam prestasi pemahaman bacaan adalah bagi mengetahui tahap sebenar pembaca yang baik. This study on high-performing ESL readers‟ response to loading cognitive stress in reading comprehension performance was developed on the basis of Lazarus and Folkman‟s transactional theory of stress, mainly to know how good, good readers are.
