Abstract
Tujuan kajian ini ialah untuk menentukan strategistrategi yang digunakan oleh pelajar-pelajar sekolah Malaysia di Tingkatan Lima untuk menyelesaikan masalah kimia berangka. Kaedah 'menyuarakan-fikiran', suatu pendekatan kualitatif, telah digunakan untuk mendapatkan daripada pelajar-pelajar ini strategi-strategi yang mereka telah gunakan. The aim of the study was to determine the strategies used by Form Five Malaysian school students in solving quantitative chemistry problems. The 'think-aloud' method, a qualitative approach, was used to draw out from these students the strategies that they had used.
