Abstract

Degradasi alam sekitar, kemiskinan global, kelemahan dalam hak asasi manusia, defisit kesihatan yang melampau dan tata urus korporat telah membolehkan lestari pengurusan bekalan rantai menonjol sebagai pendorong utama untuk organisasi memberi tumpuan dalam mengurangkan masalah alam sekitar, membawa manfaat ekonomi dan sosial. Environmental degradation, global poverty, lack of human rights, far-reaching health deficits, and corporate governance resulted in sustainable supply chains management (SSCM) to emerge as key enabler that could push organization to focus on alleviating environmental issues, providing economic and social benefits.
