Abstract

Kajian ini mengkaji tentang perkembangan persatuan-persatuan Foochow di Sarawak, khasnya Persatuan Foochow Sibu dari tahun 1900 hingga tahun 1999. Kajian ini juga membuktikan wujudnya hubungan Persatuan Foochow Sibu dengan perkembangan ekonomi Sibu. This thesis attempts to study the development of Foochow associations in Sarawak, especially the Foochow Association of Sibu from 1900 to 1999. This research also aims to study the relationship between Foochow Association of Sibu and the economic development of Sibu.
