Abstract

Haloperidol merupakan suatu drug antipsikotik yang tipikal dan secara kimianya daripada kumpulan butirofenon. Suatu kaedah kromatografi cecair berprestasi tinggi yang peka dan selektif dengan pengesan ultra-lembayung telah diperkembangkan bagi penentuan haloperidol dan haloperidol terturun secara serentak di dalam plasma. Haloperidol is a typical antipsychotic drug that chemically belongs to butyrophenone group. A sensitive and selective reversed-phase HPLC method with ultraviolet detection was developed for the simultaneous determination of haloperidol and reduced haloperidol in plasma.
