Abstract
Research on plant latex has been done extensively to evaluate its potential in wound healing. Artocarpus altilis (Breadfruit) is one of the plant species with medicinal properties such as diarrhoea, stomach aches, ear infections, fungal infections, injured eyes broken bone and wound. This study was done to evaluate the potential of breadfruit’s latex in wound healing through protein profiling and in-vitro studies. The breadfruit was collected from Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia.
