Abstract

222Rn adalah gas nadir radioaktif yang wujud secara tabii, berasal daripada pereputan uranium 238U dalam batuan, tanah dan mineral. 222Rn dan hasil pereputannya menyumbangkan hampir 50% dos sinaran tabii tahunan kepada populasi manusia. 222Rn is a naturally occurring radioactive noble gas, originating from the decay of uranium, 238U, in rocks, soils and minerals. 222Rn and its solid decay products are responsible for about 50% of the annual natural radiation dose of the population.
