Abstract

Kajian ini dilakukan untuk menilai: (1) keupayaan sistem paya tiruan untuk menyingkirkan pencelup diazo jenis reaktif Remazol Black B (RB5), nitrogen dan tuntutan oksigen kimia (COD) secara serentak, (2) kesan pencelup ke atas penyingkiran nitrogen dan COD, dan (3) keupayaan sekam padi mentah sebagai media alternatif. This study was carried out to investigate: (1) the potential of constructed wetland systems in removing the reactive diazo dye Remazol Black B (RB5), nitrogen and chemical oxygen demand (COD) simultaneously, (2) the effect of the dye on nitrogen and COD removal, and (3) the potential of raw rice husks as an alternative media.
