Abstract

Raksa merupakan salah satu bahan pencemar utama kerana bentuk organiknya yang dikenali sebagai metilraksa boleh mengakumulasi sehingga ke tahap tinggi dalam rantai makanan akuatik. Mercury is recognized as one of the primary pollutants in the world mainly because its organic form known as methylmercury can accumulate to high levels in the food chain of many aquatic systems.
