Abstract

Malaysian society is experiencing immense social and cultural changes. These changes include the emergence of gay culture in which people identify and present themselves as having a gay identity and lifestyle. However, the rapid diffusion of gay culture into Malaysian society poses various cultural conflicts with the mainstream culture.
