Abstract
China’s subsidies for residential distributive photovoltaic systems (RDPS) previously drove up rural installation rates, but this key renewable energy technology faced a setback after subsidies were withdrawn in 2021. However, few studies have explored factors influencing rural residents’ intentions to repurchase RDPS in the postsubsidy era. To address this gap, this study adopts the extended theory of planned behavior (ETPB) as its theoretical framework, examining factors affecting consumers’ RDPS repurchase intentions with subsidy policy cognition and community attachment serving as moderating variables.
