Abstract

In today's competitive business environment, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly those in the textile manufacturing sector, are confronted with the dual challenges of sustaining growth and adapting to market changes. For these enterprises, having a workforce engaged in pro-environmental behaviors is crucial for ensuring green management, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing efficiency. A reluctance among employees in textile manufacturing SMEs to adopt such behaviors poses a significant threat to long-term enterprise development. Consequently, understanding the motivators behind employees' pro-environmental behaviors has become a pivotal issue for SMEs in this sector. This study aims to identify the factors that influence pro-environmental behaviors among employees of textile manufacturing SMEs. It focuses on ethical leadership (IV1) and environmental transformational leadership (IV2), along with personal normative beliefs (MV1) and environmental concern (MV2), as these are considered critical at both individual and organizational levels. Additionally, the study examines the moderating role of corporate social responsibility (CSR), viewing these factors as potent motivators for pro-environmental behaviors.
