Abstract
The university plays a critial role for student leadership development and responsible to cultivate future leaders. This study aims to explore the relationships between Student Leadership Practices, Core Self-Evaluation, and Motivation to Lead, as well as its three dimensions in Chinese public universities. This study used an explanatory sequential mixed-method research design. In the quantitative phase, multi-stage sampling procedure was used to collect data from student leaders at seven universities in Anhui Province, and a total of 687 valid responses were obtained for analysis.
