Abstract
Most fractional differential equations (FDEs) lack precise analytical solutions which reflect memory effects in real-world systems. Although various numerical methods have been developed, they often suffer from limitations in accuracy, convergence, or stability, especially when applied to problems involving variable dynamics. Therefore, in this thesis, a new 2-point fractional block backward differentiation formula (2FBBDF) is formulated to solve FDEs with fractional order.
