Abstract
The revolution of information technology (IT) has impacted and changed every aspect of human being’s lives. The financial services industry in Malaysia has been navigating the digital revolution through the offering of digital financial services (DFS) and generating profits through efficiency, cost savings and wider reach. However, DFS are vulnerable to cyber-attacks and system failure which may compromise business continuity and financial stability. Therefore, a comprehensive DFS protection is very important in ensuring business sustainability. The primary objective of this research is to develop a valid and sound instrument to assess SMEs perception towards the application and effectiveness of digital financial services (DFS) protection from the perspective of financial literacy. The objective of the study will be exploring the factors that influence financial sustainability.
