Abstract
Primary STEM education in China faces persistent challenges in developing students' conceptual understanding and sustaining their learning motivation. To address these issues, this study developed and evaluated an Engineering Design-Based STEM (EDB-STEM) module for third-grade students, focusing on Force and Motion concepts. The EDB-STEM module was developed using the ADDIE Model, incorporating engineering design principles and supported by multiple learning theories including constructivism, expectancy-value theory, situated learning, and selfdirected learning.
