Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Teacher Competency Framework in Game-Based Learning (TCF-GBL) to support secondary school teachers in effectively implementing game-based learning (GBL) in China. The framework was designed to identify essential teacher competencies for successful GBL practices. The study employed the Design and Development Research (DDR) method, consisting of three phases: needs analysis, design and development, and evaluation.
