Abstract
This study focuses on incarcerated women drug traffickers in Penang Prison and examines three main areas: (1) describing the profile of incarcerated women drug traffickers in Penang Prison, (2) examining the socio-economic conditions contributing to women’s involvement in drug trafficking crime, and (3) identifying the impact of the criminal justice system on these women.
