Abstract

This study undertakes a thorough investigation of SMEs performance dynamics, focusing on the intricate interplay between strategic internal resources and SMEs performance. Drawing from the tenets of the Resource-based View (RBV) and the Extended Resource-based View (ERBV), the investigation probes into alliance supportive culture, alliance orientation (scanning, coordination, and learning), relational capital, organisational ambidexterity and, SMEs strategic alliances to determine their direct impact towards SMEs performance. The study explores the dynamics around interdependencies among organisations, prompting the integration of Resource Dependence Theory (RDT) into the research framework to confirm the mediating role of routine strategic alliance formation.
