Abstract

The role of court interpreters is crucial in ensuring justice in bilingual legal settings. While many countries have established professional standards and legal frameworks for court interpreting, Jordan’s regulatory system remains underdeveloped, and scholarly research in this area is limited. This study explores the conceptual, procedural, and situational knowledge required by small-claims court interpreters (SCCI) in Jordan.
