The researchers personally experienced the closed control of hubei cities in china and deeply realized the importance of mobile applications, especially for elderly users. Objective: to explore the research results through the innovative optimization design suggestions of a hospice app centered on elderly users and improve the user satisfaction of the elderly through the optimization and innovative design of a palliative care app. This study takes the hospice service for the elderly as the starting point to explore the design of related system services such as medical care, nutrition, and travel designed for the elderly. Methods: spssau was used for quantitative analysis, and maxqda was used for text analysis of semi-structured interviews. Combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, a new service system model was obtained. Finally, interviews and verifications with experienced users were conducted to conclude. Results: through the innovative optimization of the palliative care app, the relevant interface design and functional design were optimized to improve the user experience of the elderly. For the hospice app designed with chinese culture as the background, its interface design, functional design, color, etc., all have local cultural style characteristics.
