Abstract
The literatures of migration or diaspora and/or transnationalism portray memory-migration nexus, particularly pertaining to identity and cross-cultural experiences. However, even though Asian-Australian literature is not a relatively new field of study, there is still a paucity of literature discussing the representations of Asian-Australians in literary writings, compared to other writings on migration, Apart from that, it is believed that writings on memory, whether fiction or non-fiction are sparked by the memory of the Holocaust, hence, studies on Holocaust writings are more immense compared to other writings of such atrocity. In the context of Asian-Australian life-writings specifically, the study (exclusive is still limited, especially so with regard to second-generations.
