Abstract

The present study aims to examine the relationship between the HRM practices of recruitment and selection, training, compensation, and performance appraisal and employees’ job performance, taking into consideration the mediating and moderating roles of competence and participative decision making (PDM). This study provides an overview of the HRM practices in the context of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA). A total of 277 questionnaires were collected from the employees in the Public sector organizations. Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software was employed to test the hypothesized relationship.
