Abstract

The current study has been conducted to develop a ceramic membrane combined with palladium metal that offers great affinity towards hydrogen to improve the selectivity. In order to obtain the highest permeability, TiO2 ceramic which has low tortuosity compared to other ceramic materials was utilized. The study focused on the synthesis and characterization of TiO2 membrane with the impregnation of elemental palladium (Pd-TiO2 membrane).
