Abstract

Kajian ini mengkaji potensi sekam padi yang terdapat di Malaysia sebagai bahan asas untuk penghasilan karbon teraktif yang dapat digunakan untuk menyingkirkan bahan pencemar kuprum (II), zink (II) dan keperluan oksigen kimia dalam larutan akues. This study investigates the potential use of rice husk that available in Malaysia, as the precursor for the preparation of activated carbon which can be applied for the removal of pollutants namely; copper (II), zinc (II) and chemical oxygen demand (COD) from aqueous solution.
