Suatu kajian tentang taburan, biodiversiti dan genetik populasi sebahagian komuniti amfibia di utara Semenanjung Malaysia telah dijalankan dari Mei 2008 hingga Februari 2012. Amfibia dikutip daripada kawasan penyampelan oleh pengkaji-pengkaji yang terdiri daripada 4-5 orang di mana penyampelan dilakukan dari jam 2000 hingga jam 2300 dengan menggunakan lampu suluh dan tangguk. Sampel amfibia daripada beberpa lokasi itu kemudiannya dibawa balik ke makmal untuk analisis lanjutan. A study of the distribution,biodiversity and popultion genetics of some amphibian communities in northern Peninsular Malaysia was conducted from May 2008 to February 2012. Amphibians were collected from sampling sites by search parties comprising 4-5 persons. Samplings were conducted from 2200 hrs to 2300 hrs with the help of battery powered torch lights and sweep nets. Samples of amphibians from the various localities were collected and brought back to the laboratory for further analysis.
