    Abstract

    Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kepimpinan beretika guru besar dan pengupayaan guru terhadap kesejahteraan organisasi di SJKT. Secara khususnya, kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti (1) tahap kepimpinan beretika guru besar, pengupayaan guru dan kesejahteraan organisasi di SJKT, (2) perbezaan kesejahteraan organisasi di SJKT berdasarkan gred dan lokasi sekolah, (3) pengaruh kepimpinan beretika guru besar terhadap kesejahteraan organisasi dan pengupayaan guru, (4) pengaruh pengupayaan guru terhadap kesejahteraan organisasi di SJKT, dan (5) pengaruh moderasi pengupayaan guru terhadap hubungan antara kepimpinan beretika guru besar dengan kesejahteraan organisasi di SJKT. Seramai 554 orang guru dari 98 buah SJKT telah terlibat sebagai responden dalam kajian ini yang dipilih secara rawak dari tiga buah negeri di Utara Semenanjung Malaysia (Pulau Pinang, Kedah Darul Aman dan Perak Darul Ridwan). Data dari responden diperoleh melalui satu set soal selidik yang terdiri daripada empat bahagian. Soal selidik kepimpinan beretika terjemahan daripada Tengku Badrul (2012) digunakan untuk mengenal pasti perlakuan kepimpinan beretika guru besar di SJKT. This study aims to assess the influence of headmasters’ ethical leadership and teacher empowerment to healthy organizations in SJKT. In particular, this study aims to identify (1) the level of headmasters’ ethical leadership, teachers empowerment and healthy organizations in SJKTs, (2) differences in healthy organizations in SJKTs based on grade and school location, (3) the influence of headmasters’ ethical leadership on healthy organization and teachers empowerment, (4) the influence of empowering teachers empowerment to healthy organizations in SJKT, and (5) the moderating influence of teachers empowerment on the relationship between headmasters’ ethical leadership with healthy organizations in SJKT. A total of 554 teachers from 98 SJKT been involved as respondents in this study were randomly selected from three states in northern Peninsular Malaysia (Penang, Kedah and Perak Darul Ridwan). Data from respondents was obtained through a questionnaire consisting of four parts. Ethical leadership questionnaire translations from Tengku Badrul (2012) is used to identify the behaviour of headmasters’ ethical leadership at SJKT.
