Abstract

Permintaan pasaran ke atas produk farmaseutikal halal telah meningkat disebabkan oleh kesedaran pengguna Muslim terhadap produk halal. Dengan teknologi pengesahan DNA, eksipien dan produk akhir yang dicemari dengan kandungan porsin boleh dikesan dengan melakukan ujian kuantitatif tindak balas rantai polimerase (qPCR). Market demand on halal pharmaceutical products has increased due to the awareness of Muslim consumers towards halal products. With DNA verification technology, porcine content in adulterated excipients and final product can be detected by performing quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) test.
