Abstract

Pulau Pinang menarik pelaburan modal asing yang tinggi bagi industry-industri perkilangan dan perkhidmatan dan akan memerlukan sumber bakat modal insan yang berkualiti tinggi untuk memenuhi keperluan semasa dan akan datang. Oleh itu, lebih perhatian perlu diberi untuk mengenal pasti faktor-faktor yang dapat menarik, mengekalkan dan membangunkan modal insan. Penang draws in substantial foreign capital investments (FDIs) for the manufacturing and services industries and will require a continuous supply of high-quality talent to meet current and future human capital requirements. Hence, the need to place more emphasis on identifying the factors that can attract, retain and develop human capital.
