Abstract

Kajian ini merupakan suatu penelitian tentang kedudukan sosioekonomi masyarakat India di bawah DEB. Justeru, kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kedudukan sosioekonomi masyarakat India dalam jangka masa sebelum dan selepas pelaksanaan DEB. Penyelidikan ini juga dilaksanakan dalam ruang lingkup matlamat serampang dua mata DEB iaitu membasmi kemiskinan dan menyusun semula masyarakat. This study is a scrutiny on the socio-economic position of the Indian community under the NEP. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the socio-economic position of the Indian community in the period before and after the implementation of the NEP. This study is also carried out within the scope of the two-pronged objective of NEP of eradicating poverty and restructuring society.
