Abstract
Kajian ini bertujuan mengkaji tahap pencapaian kemahiran proses sains guruguru
pelatih dan pelaksanaannya dalam pengajaran pembelajaran sains semasa
praktikum. Metodologi kajian ini melibatkan reka bentuk kombinasi dua fasa. Dalam
fasa 1, kaedah tinjauan digunakan untuK. mengkaji pencapaian kemah iran proses sa ins
1 03 guru pelatih yang ditadbirkan dengan ujian Kemah iran Proses Sa ins Asas (KPSA)
dan ujian Kemahiran Proses Sains Bersepadu (KPSB) dan dianalisiskan secara
kuantitatif. Dalam fasa 2, kaedah kajian kes melibatkan 6 orang guru pelatih untuk
mengkaji pelaksanaan kemahiran proses sains dalam pengajaran Sains semasa
praktikum dan data pemerhatian dianali~iskan secara kualitatif berdasarkan tema dan
seterusnya ditriangulasi dengan penulisan refleksi guru pelatih dan juga data
kuantitatif.
This study aimed to examine the achievement levels and implementation of science
process skills among student teachers during practicum. A two-phase mixedmethodology
design was employed. In the first phase, a survey being analysed
quantitatively was carried out to examine the achievement levels of the science
process skills of 103 student-teachers using the Basic Assessment Process Skills
(SAPS) and Test of Integrated Process Skills II (TIPS II). In the second phase, a case
study being analysed qualitatively according to themes was carried out towards 6
student-teachers to observe the implementation of science process skills during
practicum and the data collected bein~ftJ1angu1ated with their reflections writing as well
as the quantitative data.
