Abstract

The concept of Sustainable Development has been proposed as a solution to the environment challenges that we face. A concern for biodiversity loss has lead the United Nations to declare 2011-2020 as the Decade on Biodiversity. Konsep Pembangunan Lestari telah dicadangkan sebagai penyelesaian kepada cabaran alam sekitar yang dihadapi kini. Kebimbangan tentang pengurangan biodiversiti dunia telah membawa kepada pengisytiharan Dekad Biodiversiti (2011- 2020) oleh Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (PBB).
