Abstract

Cervical cancer is the second most common type of cancer that affects women, ranked after breast cancer. In Malaysia, there is a shortage of pathologists that can diagnose the disease. Therefore, automated or semi automated diagnosis systems are needed to overcome this shortage. Barah pangkal rahim adalah merupakan kanser yang kedua terbesar menyerang wanita selepas barah payudara. Di Malaysia, terdapat kekurangan pakar patologi yang boleh mengenalpasti dan mengesan barah ini. Oleh itu, sistem diagnosis automatik atau separa-automatik diperlukan untuk mengatasi kekurangan pakar patologi.
