Abstract

Kesan pengadunan dan pengolahan terhadap sifat-sifat gentian, mekanikal dan optikal pulpa telah dikaji dengan melakukan perbandingan di antara jenis-jenis pulpa iaitu pelepah kelapa sawit (OPF), tandan buah kelapa sawit kosong (EFB), Acacia mangium dan kayu lembut (jenis pine). The blending and treatment (beating) of pulps derived from oil palm frond (OPF), empty fruit bunch (EFB), Acacia mangium and soft wood (pine type) were investigated as means of modifying the mechanical, optical, and fibers characteristics of the resulting paper.
