Abstract

Sungai Kampar, which is one of the tributaries of Sg Kinta in the State of Perak is currently used as a source of water supply for the town of Kampar and its surrounding areas. The catchment area of Sg Kampar is made up of ex-mining land, agricultural areas and forest reserved beside a number of aboriginal •settlements and Malay reservations.
