The relationship between drug use and crime has not been studied much in Malaysia. . Although drug issues manifest themselves at every level of the criminal justice system, from street crime to international trade in drugs, the relationship between drugs and crime is difficult to specify because most crimes result from a combination of situational, personal, cultural and economic factors.
