Abstract

The term Information Technology (IT) has evolved into Information and Communication Technology (lCT) in Bri1ain though IT is still used in the context of references to the National Curriculum for IT in England and Wales (Higgins et a1., 1999). In this paper, ICT is the preferred term, but IT is also used when authors quoted use the term.
