Abstract

Simultaneous solvent extraction 0f ten metal ions (Mg2+, V4+, Mn2+, C0 2+, N•I2+, CU2+, Zn2+, Ag+,Cd2+, Hg2+) with three thiacrown ethers, namely 1,4,7,10-etrathiacyc1ododecane (l2S4),1,4,7,1 0, 13-pentathiacyc1opentadecane (l5S5) and 1,4,7,10,13,16-hexathiacyc1ooctadecane (l8S6)in 1,2-dichloroethane was studied using inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS).
