Abstract

Four acylated flavonols i.e. Kaempferol 3-O-cinnamyl sophoroside, quercetin 3-O-acetylgalactoside, quercetin 3-O-acetylarabinoside and myricetin 3-O-acetylxyloside have been isolated from the leaves of Mimosa pigra, a weedy species which is widely distributed in the tropics and subtropics.
